Returned Bikes
This is where you get to see the work we are doing in more than words! All the bikes listed here have been returned, either directly to the owners or to a law enforcement agency. The number of bikes I have documented for this page is less than the actual number recovered due to dismal book keeping early on in this endeavor (but I am getting better at it!)
As of June 2, 2009 the total number of bikes returned is: 256 for a total value of $246,730.

2003 Rocky Mountain Switch Ltd |
Bike return 87 - This was the original owner of this excellent condition Switch. His insurance company only gave him $500 for the claim, a bit short of the $4000+ he originally paid. Luckily, the insurance company allowed him to repay the $500 and he was able to keep the bike. And he reimbursed us for the recovery! While not a requirement, it sure does go a long way in helping us to keep the program going.

Thin Blue Line |
Bike return #98 _ Thin Blue Line. This is a very unique bike so I am not at all surprised that we could find the proper owner of it. Judging by the pic, I would say he is pretty happy with the recovery.
